    Default Application Eligibility Approved

I was really impressed with the quick approval time because it only took 2 days BUT the fee hike to $950 just blows my mind.

Note: Effective July 1st 2017, the CEH exam voucher price on the online store will be as follows:

    CEH EEC\VUE Exam Voucher: $950
Next up: CISSP, CEH, MCSE Productivity, MCSE Collaboration & Infrastructure
Near Future: CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNA Datacenter
Eventually: CISSP-ISSEP, OSCP, CCNP, CCNP Security, CCNP Datacenter

Wow, that price is ridiculous. Is this for the testing center or online version of the test?

$700 until 6/30. On 7/1 both the remote and proctored test change to $950. I will pay now but schedule the test for next month.

I don't suppose that fee amount includes the $100 application amount? :/ Damn...

I'm just wondering what happens if you fail the exam? Do you get a free try or some kind of discount for the next time?

Don't worry, the excitement will soon wear off after you take their lack-luster exam and join the rest of us CEHs that are less than proud to be affiliated with the EC-Council. Also if you fail the exam, you will have to buy another voucher at full price, no discounts.

Man, that's crazy. Good for you that you don't have to pay for it yourself! It's unfortunate that companies and recruiters still have that cert listed in job requirements.

This exam is free for me because my company reimburses me for all costs including the application fee. Win-Win for me. CEH will be taken shortly after CISSP because I have been studying both at the same time. When I get bored with one I just switch to the other......
